FAQs
Everything you need to know before your first session at our Midtown Tulsa studio.
Thai Yoga Bodywork
Thai bodywork is a movement-based, fully clothed bodywork practice that blends assisted stretching, deep tissue & fascia kneading, assisted yoga postures, and rhythmic mobilization. Think of it as yoga you don’t have to do yourself — I move your body for you in ways that feel supportive, opening, and deeply grounding.
Deep tissue uses targeted pressure with oils. Thai work uses bodyweight, leverage, and flowing movement while you stay fully clothed. It focuses on mobility, alignment, and whole-body release rather than digging into a single muscle.
You can choose from:
1 hour — great for focused mobility and refresh
1.5 hours — the “sweet spot” for deeper release and integration
2 hours — the ultimate full-body reset if you want time to address everything
Research shows that a 60-minute session already offers psychological and physical benefits (calm, mental clarity, improved mobility). Longer sessions allow more time for deep stretches, joint mobility, and full-body work, so many clients feel more complete results from 90- or 120-minute sessions.
Consistent practice over weeks or months creates the most lasting changes in flexibility, stress, and pain patterns.
Only if that’s your jam. Everything stays within your body’s natural comfort range — I follow your breath, your limits, and your cues.
Comfortable, stretchy clothing you can easily move in (yoga clothes, joggers, leggings, sweatpants).
No — all sessions take place in-studio at our midtown Tulsa, Oklahoma location to ensure proper equipment, safety, grounding, and quality.
Absolutely. Thai techniques shine when it comes to mobility issues, stiffness, and stress-related tension.
The ideal frequency depends on your body’s needs:
For Chronic Tension or Injury Recovery: Once a week or every two weeks until the primary issue is resolved.
For General Maintenance & Stress Relief: Once a month is the ‘gold standard’ to keep the joints mobile and the nervous system balanced.
For Athletes: Every 1–2 weeks to assist with muscle recovery and range of motion.
Think of it like a ‘tune-up’ for your body—consistency helps prevent tension from accumulating in the first place.
Private & Semi-private Group Yoga
Each private session is tailored to your needs encompassing a mind-body wellness lens: flexibility, strength, mobility, stress relief, injury support, or building a consistent practice. It’s 100% about your goals and your body’s type and needs.
Each semi-private group yoga session is tailored for a group of 2-4 people.
Not at all — flexibility is the result, not the prerequisite.
Restorative yoga, Yin yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga. Restorative yoga is excellent for Seniors!
